General Information:

The Capacitors and Filters General Manager is responsible for managing all operational aspects of the production unit and is accountable for the following areas: Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Production Operations, Manufacturing Production Planning & Control, Environmental and Employee Health & Safety.

 Your Responsibilities:

  •  Implementing the global strategy in the production unit, ensuring profitable and efficient operations of the site
  •  Leading the manufacturing function and operation teams
  •  Improving the manufacturing technologies and competencies in line with the strategy
  • Maintaining an oversight on operational performance, particularly Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, HSE and Cost, having an overall responsibility on “Profit & Loss”.
  • Involve in customer relations, product management, business development and sales support.
  • The Capacitors and Filters General Manager manages multiple teams led by Senior Managers and Managers.
  • Ownership of short to mid-term (1-3 years) strategy execution and operational direction in alignment with parent/independent organization objectives.
  • Decisions have a serious impact on the overall success or failure on area of accountability.
  • Interact with executive leadership and others concerning matters of significance to the organization.

Your Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering is required.
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
  • Preferred MBA
  • Minimum 12 years of experience is required.
