Program Manager for HVDC Control & Protection Project Operations

Due to our continuous growth, we are hiring a Program Manager - Project Operations. This is a hybrid working role, based in our Ludvika, Sweden offices, combined with working from your home-office.

You will be part of the Global Engineering organization for our High Voltage Direct Current product group. The HVDC technology has been on the market for over 60 years and is an enabler for renewable energy integration, supporting energy transition for a sustainable future. Your responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines and milestones for the implementation of a new IT/OT system within HVDC Control and protection.
  • Co-ordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project objectives and timeline.
  • Engage with key stakeholders including engineering teams, research and development, and external vendors.
  • Facilitate regular communication and collaboration to ensure stakeholder alignment and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Allocate resources (by coordinating with resource managers) effectively to support project activities and deliverables.
  • Identify potential risks and uncertainties associated with the implementation of the new IT/OT system. Develop risk management plans and strategies to respond to risks as they rise.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenditures and ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
  • Establish quality standards and performance metrics for the new system implementation.

Your background

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM related fields or relevant certification.
  • Proven experience in program or project management, particularly in leading complex IT/OT system implementations within engineering or industrial operations environments.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall project management methodologies, with the ability to adapt approaches based on project requirements and constraints.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with ability to anticipate challenges and proactively implement solutions.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of IT/OT management systems and emerging technologies.
