Fleet Management Specialist

The Supply Chain Specialist for Fleet Management will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the supply chain process within the fleet management sector. This includes managing vehicle procurement, maintenance, inventory levels, and logistics to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and implement strategies for procurement, distribution, and logistics management.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of fleet services.
  • Oversee the lifecycle of fleet vehicles from acquisition to disposal.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and service providers to secure advantageous terms.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and prepare adequate supply.
  • Implement sustainability initiatives focusing on eco-friendly sourcing and transportation methods.

 

Qualification & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field or appropriate work experience.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in fleet management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain and fleet management principles.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
