Mechanical design Engineer

Your responsibilities:-

  • The selected engineer will be the part of factory engineering team of dry transformer design.
  • Preparation of tender drawings and order drawings for onward submission to customer for their review and approval as per project schedule.
  • Responsible to generate manufacturing, purchase drawings and Bill of material meeting factory limitation, guidelines and checklists.
  • Coordinating design activities with HUB and Global team for any special requirements and new implementations
  • Participation in internal design concept reviews and even with other functions for any special designs
  • Visiting shop floor to attend issues if any and resolve it.
  • Should have good understanding of IS/ IEC / CBIP standards.
  • Experience in Microsoft office, E3 software, SAP and any other analysis tools is an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated team building skills, would be a preference.

Your background:-

  • Graduate in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 2-7 year’s of experience working in Mechanical design for dry type or oil filled transformers manufacturing industry.
  • Candidates with higher experience also to be considered.
  • Should have knowledge of dry type transformer.
  • Experience in winding design is advantage.
  • Knowledge on CAD software, 3D Modeling software like Creo is must.
  • Ability to speak and work together with the technical teams in different parts of the world.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
