We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to take the responsibility of successful relocation of a thriving production factory.

This role will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the entire relocation process of the factory to ensure uninterrupted operations.

As Senior Project Manager you will together with the project team responsible for delivering our strategically important factory relocation project on time, within budget and according to specifications.

Job description

  • Good understanding of the company and local HSE policies, rules and standards. Being a role model and performing preventive & corrective actions in collaboration with HSE team to avoid any incidents.
  • Manage all aspects of the factory relation process and successful completion within appropriate budget, timeline, and quality standards.
  • Conduct feasibility study for potential investment sub-projects incl. business case.
  • Ensure successful transfer of equipment, inventory, and other resources between existing and new facilities.
  • Alignment of project goals and execution strategy across different functions and disciplines
  • Responsible for team building and communications within the project team.  Also, for managing effective communication with all stakeholders including BU & HUB Steco incl. reporting on project/schedule/cost and escalation of issues etc. Ensure factory staff are informed and trained about the relocation process.
  • Responsible for effective cost control, risk management, change & claim management.
  • Develop appropriate risk management strategies for relocation process.
  • Ensure needed resources are available in a timely manner.
  • Develop collaboration with key partners.
  • Support improvement of site way of working and monitor compliance to applicable practices policies, and specifications.
  • Verify and approve key project milestones, i.e., Mechanical Completion / Final construction 'as built' documentation.
  • Responsible for project closure & lessons learned collection.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 year working experience in the energy, preferably in transformer business.
  • Min. 5 years of project management, contract management or business development experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing conditions.
  • Working Experience within the CAPEX related field
  • Good understanding of change management and process risk analysis & management as well as maintenance.
  • Innovative & focused approach to identify and implement ways of working and tools to achieve project objectives.
  • Structured approach ensuring effective coordination to ensure safe, reliable, effective & sustainable implementation.
  • Ability to lead and influence a diverse team without direct line responsibility, including technical experts and senior staff.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering preferred in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a similar discipline.
  • Fluent in both, Turkish and English
