(Junior) Service Sales Engineer - Transformer Service (Power)  80 - 100% (f/m/d)

The Opportunity 
 

Are you a recent graduate eager to embark on an exciting career in sales? We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Service Team in Zurich, Switzerland, as a Service Sales Engineer. In this role, you will report to the Local Service Center Manager and support our Sales organization and customers throughout the sales process for our diverse range of products. 

 

As part of our dynamic Sales Team, you will focus on High-Voltage Circuit-Breaker & Power Transformer Service in Switzerland, particularly within the Swiss German market. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the energy transition through our innovative product and service portfolio. You will collaborate with experienced international peers in the Swiss Electricity service business, gaining invaluable experience and insights.  

 

How You Will Make an Impact 

  • Support the Sales Team: Assist the Sales team and customers throughout the sales process, while developing new and existing business by increasing internal and external knowledge of products and market

  • Prepare Technical Offers: Create technical offers in line with our portfolio and customer needs, clarifying technical and commercial aspects 

  • Participate in Strategy Discussions: Engage in sales strategy discussions, set short- and long-term goals, and help negotiate sales budgets and marketing plans 

  • Market Analysis: Identify customer needs and competitor offers through market analysis, ensuring our marketing actions and communications highlight the value of our products, systems, services, and packages 

  • Provide Technical Support: Help the Sales organization and customers determine the most appropriate and cost-effective solutions, offering technical support, product presentations, and training 

  • Customer Case Ownership: Take ownership of specific customer cases to ensure efficient issue resolution and analyze lost proposals to improve future competitiveness 

  • Sales Performance Reviews: Conduct sales performance reviews, propose recovery plans for potential order shortfalls, and provide regular sales activity reports to assist in production planning

Your Background 

  • Education: Master's or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field 

  • Language Skills: Fluent in German, with good command of French and English, both written and spoken 

  • Motivation to Learn: No prior sales experience required, but a strong motivation to learn and develop in a sales role is essential 

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment
