Continuous Improvement Specialist

General Information:

Continuous Improvement Specialist focuses on improvements and cost savings to improve the organization's profitability and efficiency across the value stream.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop strategies and initiatives for process improvements across the value stream
  • Implement and manage CI (Continuous Improvement) initiatives utilizing Lean and Six Sigma Methodologies
  • Develop pipeline of future improvement projects
  • Mentor and coach CI project leaders though certification process
  • Work across the organization to ensure KPI’s and performance metrics are captured correctly and appropriately reported
  • Leverage best practices from across the organization to help drive value and consistency
  • Act as a change agent in the organization, challenge the status quo

Your Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial engineering / operational excellence or relevant experience
  • Five (5+) or more years of relevant experience preffered iin application of Lean tools
  • Lean Black Belt certification preferred.
  • Experience in facilitating Kaizen events required
  • Experienced in effectively leading improvement initiatives, utilizing Lean and/or Six Sigma
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct root cause analysis / implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
  • Experience in facilitating Kazen events
  • Ability to effectively communicate results and partner across the organization to establish relationships to drive initiatives and generate value.
