Inductive Voltage Transformer Type PV

A solution for high accuracy measurement of your electric power grid

The PV voltage instrument transformers are used in electric Hitachi Energy with a system voltage of up to 123 kV and a frequency of 50 Hz.

This voltage transformer contains a high voltage coil, secondary windings and a core encapsulated in hermetic housing filled with PCB-free transformer oil.

The transformer’s stainless steel expansion bellows is fixed to the head and shielded with aluminum cover. The expansion bellows compensate for thermal changes in oil volume.

Applications

  • Installed in grids with insulated or effectively earthed neutral point and in resonant earthed systems
  • Revenue metering
  • Control
  • Indication
  • Relay protection

Why Hitachi Energy?

Hitachi Energy has developed a state-of-the-art design to provide benefits to our users for better electrical performance, improved environmental withstand and a long trouble-free life. This is accomplished with:

  • Low no-load losses due to use of oriented transformer steel
  • Resistance to ferromagnetic resonance in broad capacity range
  • Stable measuring accuracy during whole lifespan of the apparatus
  • Excellent control of electric stresses that excludes possibility of primary insulation puncture
  • Excellent insulation strength in transient conditions
  • All parts made of non-corroding materials
  • Maintenance free
  • Short delivery times
  • Lifespan of over 25 years.
