Hitachi Energy's High Voltage Products business is recognized worldwide as a specialist in power transmission and distribution equipment. At the Zurich-Oerlikon site, we develop and manufacture gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) for the transmission and distribution of electrical energy. We use state-of-the-art development tools and methods to ensure the high reliability of our switchgear. Your skills are what counts, as you routinely ensure efficient organizational project execution. With your trained eye for detail, you will play an active role in coordinating and planning our work processes. Do you have the right mix of communication skills and service orientation? In the challenging position as Site Coordinator GIS Service (m/f), you will take responsibility for the professional and timely execution of installation, commissioning and maintenance work. In doing so, you will work on the continuous improvement of processes and activities (CIP), with the goal of always creating a high level of customer satisfaction and an optimal project result for Hitachi Energy.
Your responsibilities
- In this function you will be responsible for the handling and organizational management and coordination of "on-site installation, commissioning and maintenance work
- You are the contact person for internal and external customers
- You will supervise assigned field staff, prepare installation schedules taking into account the available and necessary resources (consumables, tools and staff) and monitor and document project progress and costs (reporting)
- You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and the necessary quality assurance measures, for minimizing project costs and risks, and for the process-oriented processing of deviation reports during on-site work, including the initiation of appropriate corrective measures
- Your tasks will also include the complete compilation, filing and archiving of documentation (Red Mark, test records and reports) for "As Built" preparation as well as billing the customer
Your background
- Basic technical training and several years of practical experience in the installation and/or commissioning of GIS systems
- Solid technical knowledge and leadership experience is an advantage
- Technical school
- Good written and spoken German and English, other languages an advantage
- Confident appearance and convincing communication skills, especially when working with different cultures- Ability to work in a team and strong organizational skills
- Assertiveness and leadership skills with willingness to visit construction sites worldwide
- Good knowledge of SAP and MS Office
