We are looking for you to join our team as Project Planning & Controls Specialist (m/f/d) for the handling, controlling and monitoring of customer-specific large-scale projects, such as DC4, the German Corridor project. We are looking for engineering, procurement, and construction projects know-how, systematic working style as well as strong teamwork and communication skills. Your responsibilities
- Be a team member of a project like DC 4 or other major energy projects in Germany (Energiewende)
- Contribute to the on-time delivery on the projects
- Drive collaboration between the partners and customers
- Ensure close cooperation and coordination with internal and external stakeholders in your role as a central contact person
- Actively monitor and control of project progress using Hitachi policies and best practices to ensure that customer requirements are completed on time and in accordance to the contract
- Ensure that all projects are implemented and completed in accordance with health, safety and environmental directive
Your background
- Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable (Bachelor / Master / Dipl.)
- Relevant professional experience in EPC project management (EPC – engineering, procurement, construction)
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Certification / further education PMI-SP is a plus
- Very good communication skills, pronounced customer orientation as well as structured working methods and ability to work in a team
- English and German fluent in spoken and written
