Our liquid immersed Distribution Transformers product line is a part of the Global Product Group Distribution and Traction Transformers. Working within the Distribution and Traction Transformers Product Group and reporting to the Global Product Manager, you will be accountable to ensure competitive position, strong value differentiation and technological leadership for IEC standard liquid immersed Distribution Transformers globally, thereby contributing to Customer satisfaction and profitable growth.

Your responsibilities

• Understanding and maintaining a thorough market situation analysis covering inter-national standards, market / segment technical requirements and their impact on your portfolio, identification of technical product gaps or competitiveness opportunities, evaluation of the portfolio position etc.
• Collecting and analyzing standards, market requirements and trends, customer needs and values as an input for supporting our product roadmap
• Supporting the Global Product Manager in creating the business case and market & technical requirements for development, competitiveness, maintenance or transfer of technology projects
• Preparing product technical communication materials, including support for new product launches
• Ensuring that required product documentation, training and tools are in place for global sales and operations as well as for external communication, and that they are maintained
• Clarifying product or service positioning within the portfolio, with defined values per product line to address different segments’ needs
• Extending sales support, participating in customer meetings and attending trade shows on request to better identify customer pain points and associated consequences
• Living core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business

Your background

• MSc or BSc Engineering degree
• 12+ years of experience in R&D, product/technology development, or Engineering in IEC liquid immersed distribution transformers
• Strong technical knowledge of IEC liquid immersed distribution transformers
• Demonstrated experience in interaction with Customers and/or international Standards groups
• International experience and Intercultural sensitivity
• Structured and analytical thinking
• Networking, Leadership, Superior communication & negotiation skills
• Fluent in English
