IT Risk & Compliance Manager (f/m/d)

As IT Risk & Compliance Manager, you are responsible for establishing and continuously developing the global IT risk management & compliance framework, deployment roadmap, risk monitoring/reporting and risk & compliance assurance for the whole IT organization. You facilitate effective decisions by defining, maintaining , communicating and promoting IT risks & compliance framework within IT organization at all levels and outside IT organization. You manage a multinational team of IT experts and IT specialists.

Your responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the IT department heads, business IT managers, internal and 3rd Party Suppliers, Internal Audit to build and deliver and integrate appropriate IT services and solutions related to Risk Management & compliance into the IT processes; all in relevance to the department’s practice expertise leading to improve efficiency or operational functionality
  • Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies, for the benefit of both company and the employee.
  • Manage assigned budget effectively and delivers activities within agreed schedules and costs. Increases satisfaction with IT Risk and compliance services by assessing expectations, making sure actions are taken to close any gaps in full coordination with the Global Risk, Governance and Performance Manager
  • Ensure executional excellence throughout the area of responsibility
  • Define, promote, maintain the IT risk management & compliance policies, standards and instructions
  • Ensure adherence to the IT risk management & compliance policies, standards and instructions
  • Develop and maintain governance bodies (strategic & tactical) to collect inputs/requirements and to improve IT risk & compliance awareness and promote its best practices across IT organization
  • Ensure regular alignment with the Enterprise Risk Management to ensure full adherence to enterprise risk management guidelines
  • Support the IT leadership team in the conduction of Enterprise Risk Management Campaign
  • Defining, developing and ensuring adherence to the Business Continuity Management for the whole IT organization
  • Select appropriate external resources or companies to manage the third-party relationship
  • Analyze audit findings and defining/mitigating risks related to audit outcomes

Your background

  • 10+ years of experience in large global corporation and profound experience in IT Management
  • 7+ years of professional working experience in areas of Risk Management, Audit or Security and in people management
  • Masters / Bachelor’s degree in Information Management Systems or Business Administration
  • Deep knowledge of IT Processes and emerging Technologies
