You as a R&D Engineer will be part of Hitachi Energy business-based Chennai,we are looking for candidates with specialization in Power electronics. This position provides the opportunity to individuals to conduct research on power electronic converters and devise new converter topologies and control strategies with strong focus on HVDC, FACTS and Semiconductors applications

Your background

• PHD in Electrical Engineering with focus on Power Electronics (or) M.TECH/M.E
• 4-5 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge on converter design, control, and modulation
• Knowledge of HVDC, FACTS & Power Semiconductors devices
• Proficiency in simulation tools like PSCAD, MATLAB/Simulink
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail, multi-tasking, and ability to prioritize effectively in a demanding environment
