PG Logistic Head

General information:

You as a PG Logistic Head will be part of Hitachi Energy business unit of Power Grid High Voltage based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia will be reporting to Country Supply Chain Manager. Oversee & lead logistic activities for all LBUs in the country and support business to achieve their operational targets.

Responsibilities:

Planning: -Utilizing various transportation software systems to facilitate material movement, planning and scheduling. People Leadership and Development: - Accountable in organizing logistics activities, staff management and provide proper direction & development to the team. Scheduling: - Preparing and updating monthly logistics schedule to ensure deliveries to production locations and coordinates product delivery schedule with customers. Tracking: -Coordinating daily activities to track location and movement of inventory finished goods and raw materials via all transport modes, and re-routes freight as needed to meet demands and minimize cost. Communicates fulfilment status to Logistics and Sales organizations as appropriate. Service providers: -Working closely with transport service providers to assure efficient and effective execution of processes, assists in obtaining necessary transport. Data Management: -Supporting the development and implementation of improved processes and systems and maintains master data. Your background:

University degree, MSc, in Electrical Engineering or Business Administration. At least 5 years of relevant experience in a management position in Logistic Operations. An experience in Saudi Customs requirements or other GCC countries. Preferably if worked in an international environment. Ability to energize, coach and develop the team. Well-developed leadership and change management capabilities
