General information:
Year by year, the custom production of components for gas-insulated high voltage switchgears (GIS technology) or cooling systems is rapidly increasing, so we are again looking for new colleagues to the existing 20-member team of Steel Structure Engineers in Brno, Czech Republic. As a designer of steel structures, you will deal with designs and static calculations of steel structures, e.g. for substations around the world. We welcome experienced designers as well as fresh graduates of Civil Engineering, to whom we offer gradual incorporation, continuous development and active use of the English language. Possible to work full-time and also part-time.
Responsibilities:
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Creation of 3D models of steel structures in Tekla Structures Processing of static models and calculations based on standards in Scia Engineer (Eurocode, American standard AISC, etc.) Design of anchoring of structures in the Hilti Engi-neering software Detail checks of connections in Idea Statica Elaboration of complete production documentation of steel structures for international projects (e.g. North Sea wind farm, nuclear power plants, oil platforms, etc.) Active cooperation within the Brno Engineering team and also with internal customers from abroad (Switzerland, America, India, Sweden) Participation in the development of tools and processes within the department

REQUIREMENTS: University education - Faculty of Civil Engineering Experiences in the field of steel structures is an advantage English language B1 Level (communication with colleagues from abroad) Knowledge of these softwares is advantage: Tekla Structures, Scia Engineer, Idea Statica, Hilti, MS Office, AutoCAD Common sense, ability to learn constantly,responsibility and cooperation within team
