As a Technical Project Manager (f/m/d) in the field of Grid Integration, you will be responsible for the technical management, design and coordination of energy transition projects in Germany. You develop solutions together with our customers as well as internal and external partners. Our projects are as diverse as the energy transition in Germany and offer interesting challenges in the areas of power quality, converter technology, data centers as well as in the classic substation business. In your role as Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible not only for the overall technical solution but also for meeting deadlines and budgets. Responsibilities
- Leading, monitoring and coordinating all engineering teams in the project
Central contact for technical matters towards customers and suppliers - Developing technical concepts, calculation of costs, assessment of technical risks and opportunities as well as drafting schedules for the engineering work packages
- Ensuring safety by design by conducting respective reviews
- Analyzing, ensuring and monitoring the compliance with specifications and quality standards over the entire project period
- Coordinating and evaluating technical issues with project management, supply chain management and other stakeholders (e.g. site management)
- Managing technical deviations and changes
- Checking and approving technical documents
- Participating in factory acceptance tests and inspections
Your background
- University degree (diploma or master) in electrical engineering
- Several years of respective professional experience in a comparable position
- Knowledge of switchgear technology
- High communication skills, which makes it easy for you to discuss technical concepts with customers and suppliers
- Fluent in written and spoken German and English
- Willingness to travel from 20 – 30%
