As an IT Demand and Project Excellence Specialist, you support the successful execution of projects by defining, maintaining, and promoting standards for Project Management methods. You will also support IT Demand and IT Project Portfolio activities. Your mission is to support Project Portfolio Management and Project Execution. You work in a worldwide and multicultural environment in close collaboration with Business and IT teams.
Responsibilities:
- Support the activities related to IT Demands, IT Project Management, and IT Project Portfolio Planning methods and quality assurance
- Strengthen existing services and develop new services such as IT Demands, PM support, reporting on progress, resources, finance, costings
- Facilitate IT project portfolio governance meetings with senior IT and Business managers
- Consolidate inputs into monthly IT project portfolio reports and analyze them to ensure unbiased performance status
- Coordinate IT projects-related data inputs into annual financial budget planning
- Support the IT Demand and Project Management community of practices
- Develop and improve IT Demands and Project Management training materials
- Support the implementation and usage of the IT PPM tool, ServiceNow SPM module
Background:
- 3+ years of working experience in areas of IT Project Management, Project Management Office, and IT Project Portfolio Planning in global companies
- Understanding of IT Infrastructure and Application Development lifecycle
- Good knowledge of financial planning and budgeting of IT projects
- Knowledge of process frameworks such as ITIL or COBIT
- General knowledge of IT processes and technologies
- Experience with PPM Tools, ideally ServiceNow SPM module
- Experienced user of PowerPoint for effective online presentations to the leadership team
- Masters / Bachelor’s degree preferable in Information Management Systems, Business Administration
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
