We are looking for a Factory Manager for the Components unit in Ludvika. In this role you will manage all aspects related to operations of a local manufacturing unit including the full scope of Production, Engineering, Procurement, Quality & Operational Excellence and Logistics.

Your responsibilities

  • Implement Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and business compliance standards and regulations within the units.
  • Drive quality improvement through target setting, monitoring, and benchmarking to continuously improve processes.
  • Implement the global business unit/product group manufacturing strategy in the country within the area of responsibility.
  • Develop proactive strategies to increase business profits and capacity, customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure achievement of established targets, through oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed.
  • Lead and manage manufacturing function and operation teams and processes.
  • Deliver operational/project targets (e.g. OTD, lead time, quality, etc.) to improve net promoter score (NPS).
  • Ensure a safe working environment, and continuous improvement in HSE process and integrity performance.
  • Implement and ensure compliance with global and local standards, rules, tools, policies and processes related to operations/project execution and shares functional best practices and lessons learned across the organization.
  • Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed and directed.

Your background

  • You hold a University Degree in Engineering or similar.
  • At least 5 years or more of experience in a senior management role of manufacturing unit across multiple cultures
  • Strong expertise and knowledge and management of production plans, Lean certifications, and mindset
  • Strong work ethic and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership skills and long experience in similar complexities and size
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Swedish is considered a plus.
