Service Engineer L2

Your responsibilities:

• Manly working as Field Service engineer for installation testing and commissioning activities at customer site or Hitachi Energy projects related to the transformers, OLTC and transformer related equipment.
• The success candidate will be the part of Power transformer service team for all over India and overseas jobs. 
• Responsible for erection, testing and commissioning of power transformer up to 220 KV class.
• Responsible for the analysis of transformer tripping at site.
• Responsible for the trouble shooting jobs at site.
• Coordinating the ETC sites with contractors for the erection, testing and commissioning o transformer.
• Responsible to give the training to customer for operation and maintenance of power transformer up to 220 KV class.
• Responsible to resolve the RTCC, OLTC DM-box, M-Box and other online digital device issue at site.  
• Preparation and Submission of proper documentation including supervision details to service coordinator timely. 
• Participation in remote support to customer for the transformer service-related jobs.
• Willing travel all over India/overseas- 90 % travelling.
• Responsible for the preparation of tools list and site plan for the ETC of transformer.Responsible for site issues analysis.
• Following the Hitachi Energy company rules and regulations, display good behaviors at office and at site, any safety or integrity incident should be reported to line manager, supervisor, or project Manager.

Your background:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 5 -8 years’ experience working in installation, site testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of Power Transformers up to 220 KV class.
• Candidates with higher experience also to be considered.
• Candidate must have knowledge of RTCC, marshalling box, OLTC DM box and other digital equipment including control circuit.  
• Candidate must have the experience to handle the site execution for 220 KV class transformer.
• Candidate must have experience to handle the customer/ site. 
• Quick learner for our newly designed transformer/ its accessories.
• Candidate must have the knowledge of transformer accessories in details & NIFPES. 
• Candidate must have the knowledge of parallel operation of OLTC. 
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
