Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 2600+ skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, project Management, functional system testing, installation supervision, documentation and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest Operations hub. The India Operations Centre team at Chennai, Bangalore and Gurugram supports Hitachi Energy’s units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Hitachi Energy To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.    

Mission Statement:

As a Power BI and Training Specialist, within the APMEA Hub team in BU Transformers, you will be responsible to create, manage and maintain updated all the necessary Dashboards/reports related to the Training function and its metrics, mainly focused on data in the internal tools: My learnings, Learning Management Systems.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Transformers APMEA HUB Training function on creating all the necessary reports related to tracking the defined training KPIs across all the dimensions of Product Lines, Hub functions, countries.

  • Create, test, and deploy Power BI reports.

  • Create the reports in a very intuitive and user-friendly way.

  • Create and update the dashboards/reports as frequent as needed, to reflect all the changes that are made in the different tools.

  • Make sure that the necessary alignment is done with the APMEA HUB Training function.

  • Guiding and providing the necessary support to clarifying how to use the dashboards.

  • Developing the necessary training materials/videos on how to use the dashboard or /reports.

  • Supporting development of necessary training materials/videos in coordination with SMEs.

  • Creating or updating an onboarding report training information package focused on the training function Dashboards to be shared with the relevant new joiners of the APMEA team.

  • Creating charts and data documentation with explanations of algorithms, parameters, models, and relationships.

  • Making technological adjustments to current BI systems to improve their performance.

  • Administer BI product landscape and support end users using Jira.

  • Develop the training material in different formats, as word or power point or pdf documents, and short self-explicative videos.

  • Updating Training documentation, develop and standardize the training material and make it accessible to the organization through our SharePoint.

  • Defining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for measuring the training function and its key stakeholders.

Your background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or other relevant education.

  • Experience with formatting and preparing training material is required, covering different formats, such as word documents, PowerPoint presentations, and short explanatory videos.

  • Learning platform knowledge is needed; this can include familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or similar tools.

  • Driven, well organized, communicative and have passion for training and developing people.

  • Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate

  • Strong knowledge of Power Platform.

  • Proven communication skills and right attitude.

  • Understand the different sales tools that we are using in the business unit.

  • Proficiency in English language.
