Senior Field Service Engineer

Your responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for the installation, repairing and modification of T&D products on-site with medium to complex work instructions.

  • You will support troubleshooting on an emergency basis and follow Hitachi Energy Processes, manuals, instructions, quality standards, and HSE standards.

  • You will have a customer-focused and solution-oriented approach required.

  • You will listen closely to customer requirements and give feedback to the organization to develop new service solutions or opportunities.

  • You will have a Level 4 or Level 5 certification and can manage Level 2 certified employees (<5 Field Service Engineers).

  • You will be self-driven and working under your ownership.

  • You will be responsible for ensuring Safety on site and socially competent to lead co-workers on-site.

  • You will work on-site within Japan or abroad with travel > 70-80%.

Your background:

  • A degree in electrical or mechanical background and further education are beneficial.

  • 1 to 3 years of experience or 3 to 5 years of experience in technical for GIS/GCB or TR.

  • Certified Level 5 as per Hitachi Energy certification guidelines.

  • PICW (Person in charge of Work) Level 3.

  • Proficiency in spoken and read English is preferred.
