Salesforce Program Manager

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement strategic plans for deploying and utilizing Salesforce within the organization, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. This includes managing the Salesforce program’s roadmap, defining milestones, and tracking progress against planned goals.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the key liaison between the business units, IT, and external Salesforce vendors. Effectively communicate program objectives, progress, and outcomes to all stakeholders, ensuring alignment and addressing concerns. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to guarantee the program’s success.
  • Technical and Process Expertise: Leverage in-depth knowledge of M&S processes to guide the configuration and customization of the Salesforce platform, ensuring it meets the business's unique needs. Remain updated on the latest Salesforce features and capabilities to recommend improvements and enhancements.
  • Project Leadership and Team Management: Lead cross-functional teams in designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions. Oversee and develop team members, managing resources, schedules, and budgets effectively and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope. Facilitate a productive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
  •  People Management: Demonstrated ability to manage and develop personnel, including performance evaluation, providing regular feedback, coaching, and career development. Establish and promote a positive, inclusive work culture encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Training and Support: Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for Salesforce users, promoting adoption and proficiency across the organization. Provide ongoing support to users, addressing any issues or challenges they may encounter.
  • Data Management and Analytics: Ensure the integrity and management of Salesforce data, facilitating accurate tracking and reporting of sales and marketing activities. Utilize analytics and data insights to drive decision-making and measure the impact of Salesforce initiatives.
  •  Continuous Improvement: Conduct regular reviews of the Salesforce platform’s performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimization. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback from users and stakeholders and implementing best practices in Salesforce management.

Background

  • 8+ years of experience in IT project delivery
  • 10+ years of experience in a large global corporation
  • 8+ years in managing third-party providers on a global scale
  • Proven experience in program or project management, ideally within a Salesforce environment.
  • Proven ability in people management, demonstrating leadership in team development and performance management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Solid understanding of Marketing & Sales processes and strategies.
  • Experience in leading global complex projects and international teams
  • Experience with program management frameworks, methodologies, and tools
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design, and professional printing/publishing skills are essential, as is the ability to present concepts verbally.
  • Proficient English language skills.
