The Opportunity

As a senior systems engineer in this position, you will take charge of creating and sustaining a unified global repository of regulatory and standard requirements that influence our business within the requirements management system. Your role is crucial in fostering confidence in requirements management as a systematic approach, ensuring project quality, and establishing it as a key tool for success. By assisting our engineers and field experts in their requirements analysis, you will enable them to evaluate, prioritize, and balance the diverse needs of multiple customers. You will contribute to the development of a robust requirements library to address future demands. As a systems engineer, you will provide both process and method guidance, along with hands-on support for the project. You will bridge various components, collaborating with engineering teams and other project areas, including contracts, documentation, and project management. Alongside fellow systems engineers, you will ensure a consistent working methodology across programs and coordinate efforts among different projects, managing risks, timelines, and costs while tracking and reporting on all project aspects. How you'll make an impact

  • In this role you are responsible for developing and maintaining a common global repository of regulatory and standard requirements that impact our business within our requirements management system.
  • You help build trust in requirements management as a structured process to ensure project quality and work establish requirements management as a governing tool for success.
  • By supporting our engineers and in-field experts with their requirements analysis process so that they can review, assess, prioritize and balance the needs across multiple and diverse customers.
  • You will support the building of a sound requirements library in our ongoing efforts to meet the needs of the future.
  • In your role as a systems engineer, you will support the project with both with process and methods guidance as well as hands on work.
  • You will connect the different parts and work with the engineering teams as well as the other parts of the project, such as contract, documentation and project management.
  • Together with other systems engineers maintain a consistent way of working throughout the programs and co-ordinate between the different projects
  • Manage risk, time and cost as well as follow up and report on the status concerning all aspects for your project.

Your background

  • You have experience working with requirements management and its governing principles.
  • Experience from working in large complex projects and within the high voltage business is a merit.           
  • Experience from working in large projects with technical detailed contract requirements that the customer requires to be verified is a merit.
