Photolithography Senior Process Engineer 80% - 100% (f/m/d)

As a Senior Photolithography Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing photolithography processes used in semiconductor manufacturing. Your expertise will be essential in working with advanced lithography equipment, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring high-quality production standards.

Your Background

  • PhD or master’s degree in physics, material science, or a related field

  • Some years of experience in semiconductors, ideally in photolithography

  • Strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to interact with different teams to address root causes rather than just symptoms

  • Excellent team player with a proactive approach

  • English proficiency is required; German is a strong plus

  • Readiness for On-call duties on weekends and public holidays as required by production, with participation in on-call meetings agreed upon with other on-call service providers

How you will make an impact

  • Process Optimization: Ensure processes meet production program and yield goals, addressing any product yield and rework issues

  • Vendor Collaboration: Engage with equipment and material vendors to develop new solutions and improve existing processes

  • Innovation: Develop new techniques, modify existing designs, and coordinate process improvement projects

  • Data Analysis: Analyze process data to identify trends, optimize performance, and troubleshoot issues (implement and regularly check SPC)

  • Documentation: Document and communicate project plans, status, and results through written reports and presentations

  • Machinery Implementation: Independently plan and implement new machinery into the production line

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with process integration, wet etch, diffusion, metals, dry etch, and implant teams to ensure seamless production

  • Metrology Support: Support metrology tools, such as measuring CD and Overlay
