Tool Specialist (f/m/d)

In this role, you will be part of a team bringing our tool pool to the next level, creating additional business for us and benefits for the customer. How you'll make an impact

  • Take ownership of complex globally used tools, such as gas handling devices, mixers, assembly tools, and electrical and mechanical test equipment

  • Trigger all related activities with HSE, quality, procurement, design, and controlling functions in our factory

  • Create specifications for various tools (mechanical, electrical, mechatronics functions) and align with suppliers

  • As part of the R&D development process, work on the design, prototyping, and testing of the tools

  • Define commissioning and maintenance activities for tools (first delivery as well as regular functional tests), considering legal requirements and internal quality standards, and implement maintenance and calibration plans into SAP-based IT infrastructure

  • Provide product care for tools and initiate revisions of tools if needed.

  • Trigger tool-related processes, e.g., the need for the development of new tools, automated evaluation of the utilization rate of tools to optimize investment and achieve sustainable goals

  • Support tool pool extension to other service units globally

  • Ensure proper documentation of all related processes and activities and contribute to certification (tools and staff)

Your background

  • Academic education: Minimum 4 years of study in a technical area, e.g., process engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or similar

  • Several years of practical working experience with HV products

  • Proactive working style and strong ownership

  • Hands-on mentality

  • Project management skills

  • Communicative team player with a high passion for technology

  • Solution-oriented and customer-focused

  • Fluent in English and German
