We incorporate the integrated systems, solutions and services of our business' DC and AC fields, including HVDC, Substations, FACTS, Grid and Power Quality solutions such as offshore wind connections, and Semiconductors. We offer Power Consulting for key segments in the energy system, such as renewables, transmission distribution and as well as e-transportation solutions.

How you’ll make an impact

  • HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) is a product group within HE’s Power Grids division. The product group develops, manufactures and sells DC transmission systems.

  • This HE developed HVDC technology is used to transmit buck electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. HVDC is also used to connect power systems.

  • HE pioneered HVDC technology more than 60 years ago and is the global market leader with over 110 HVDC projects, representing a total installed capacity of more than 120,000 megawatts - around half of the world’s installed base. 

  • HVDC Service ensures continued support to the HVDC customer throughout its lifetime. HE has long experience in providing spare parts, maintenance service and delivering upgrades for HVDC links.

  • You as the ideal candidate will be responsible for sales and marketing activities within assigned geographic area/ substations in China for HVDC service business. 

  • You will accomplish the business target; proactively search and identify opportunities. Assort the sales opportunities to follow up and manage.

  • You will collect and analyze marketing information, support promotion marketing promotion activities. Be responsible for keeping good customers partnership and develop new customers.

  • You will help customer to resolve actual problems and emergency issues to maintain and enhance the satisfaction and loyalty.

  • You will be responsible for quotation, bidding, contract negotiation and coordination with customers; supporting commercial and legal team to conduct risk reviews and contract signing.

  • You will support other teams (Finance, Supply Chain Management and Project Management etc.) and to make sure service project will be implemented effectively, to collaborate across Business Units to create more business opportunities.

  • You will maintain and update Salesforce data base on quality and on time; Support PM for collecting account receivable.

  • You must ensure personal daily operation and behavior comply with the company compliance rules.

Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in engineering (electrical engineering/automation is preferred).

  • 1-3 working experience in sales and marketing, experience with electrical engineering background is a plus.

  • Demonstrated strong technical aptitude.

  • Ability to perform under high pressure and dynamic work environment managing multiple deliverables.

  • Fluent Chinese and English (written and oral), working proficiency Flexibility with frequent travel (up to 40%).
