Global Sales & Operations Planning Manager Grid Integration (f/m/d)

The opportunity

For our Supply Chain Management team, is critical to have in place the correct and full information’s regarding supply demand for the upcoming years. The growth Hitachi Energy is facing and a Supply driven Market with, in some cases, lack of capacity requires a very well and detailed Sales & Operations Planning to be established across functions allowing SCM and our Suppliers/Partners to operate at best in an effective and efficient way.

Join the Grid Integration Supply Chain core team, directly reporting to the Head of Supply Chain Management for Grid Integration, your mission would be to implement a solid and consistent Sales & Operations Planning allowing SCM function to operate at best.

How you’ll make an impact
  • You implement the SCM Sales & Operations Planning, including creation and implementation of the processes, procedures and tools as needed

  • The focus is both in relation to Material and Resource planning. The latter both in relation to internal and external resources needed to fulfill effectively our customers expectations

  • You execute the annual Supply Chain budgeting spent plan in conjunction with each Global Product Group and Hub Business Unit SCM Manager

  • You might be actively involved to support all critical Suppliers Capacity Reservation Agreements and negotiations

  • You will implement the SCM Sales & Operations Planning, in support of the three Global Product Groups within Hitachi Energy Grid Integration Business Unit: HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current), GPQSS (Grid and Power Quality Solutions and Service) and SEMI (Semiconductors)

  • You´ll work in alignment and coordination across different Business Units: GI (Grid Integration), GA (Grid Automation), HV (High Voltage), TR (Transformers) and SV (Service) to achieve an aligned S&OP planning implementation across Hitachi Energy

  • You´ll work on developing S&OP based on SAP S4Hana aiming to improve internal processes and internal/external demand forecasts and visibility

  • You will indirectly lead a team of resources dedicated to SCM S&OP ensuring that the area of responsibility is organized, staffed, skilled properly. You’ll guide, motivate and develop indirect subordinates assuring the team performance

Your background
  • More than 10 years of experience in an equivalent industry with proven track records of successful S&OP implementation/management

  • In depth and successful experience of implementing global Sales and Operations Planning in large, international organizations

  • Previous leadership experience in strategy/roadmap creation in supply base management and/or in Material Planning functions

  • Leader with strong communication and influencing skills in global organizations

  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, and strong communication skills

  • Demonstrated experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

  • Knowledge of specialized S&OP software/platforms and S/4Hana

  • Customer focus with ability to build effective working relationships and ability to inspire others

  • Fluent in English
