Hitachi Energy is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer for Raleigh, NC location. The role is experiencing tremendous growth in EV charging systems, high voltage direct current projects, power consulting, power quality solutions, semiconductors, and many other exciting offerings in North America. This position can be remote or Hybrid, and up to 20% travel will be required. Local Raleigh applicants preferred.
Responsibilities:
Your main task will be design of control and relay protection system, electrical plant system and auxiliary equipment for Power Quality Solutions Review technical specifications and standards to ensure design compliance Develop drawings, product configurations and requirement specifications working with base design solutions and processes Continuously improving our current solutions and developing new ideas Collaborate with colleagues both locally and globally to deliver projects and tenders
Your background:
Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering. Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States Minimum 3 years of relevant experience Professional Engineering License or ability to obtain Knowledge of National Electric Code and ANSI/IEEE requirements Knowledge of relay configuration a plus Experience with E3 a plus Experience in Electrical Grid Industry (Switchyard equipment) a plus
