General information: Lead the factory Stores and logistics team in the planning and implementation of initiatives that maintain and improve the reliability, effectiveness and/or efficiency of Stores and logistics processes to meet end customer demand and fulfil organization's goal. Responsibilities: The candidate for this position should have experience in the manufacturing / Power industry and having strong understanding of Store management concepts. Ensures that Group and local health, safety and environmental guidelines and directives are implemented and understood to ensure safety of people and resources Independently able to handle entire Stores and logistics process. Manages or performs work associated with implementation of improvements to store / logistics processes. Setting goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational results. Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by entire team. Physical Inventory Verification during the year as per the management guideline. Managing and checking all inventory records and making evaluation reports, and stock reconciliation. Prepare and maintain GRN, inventory, inward / outward register, Rejection report. Coordination with cross functional team for timely resolution of any issues as well as implement the best practices. Responsible for 5S, safety for the stores function. Review and implement ABRA & SOP for Stores Function. Supervise the activities of team engaged in receiving, storing, and shipping goods or materials. Aware about productivity improvement tools. Leading the Lean Light House deployment with factory operations team. Your background: Degree in Electrical / Mechanical engineering with 7 to 10 years' experience in Stores and Logistics. (Preferred Experience in High Voltage switch gear industry). Must be familiar with SAP environment and basic experience of tools like lean manufacturing, KANBAN, FIFO. Should have sound knowledge of Warehouse, Inventory management, GST, VAT. Well versed with MS Office. Serve as a change agent within the business where you continually challenge conventional thinking and work to improve culture. Analytical aptitude and thinking, strong data collection, and analytical skills for a complex project. Self-motivated and self-organized. Open-mindedness and strong interpersonal skills. Excellent communication skill, multi-tasking and time management skills. Ability to work in a collaborative manner with various functions across the organization. Excellent leadership and management skills. Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making.
