We are hiring for the title "Testing Supervisor"
Responsibilities:
Test GIS in terms of High voltage testing up to 420kV, Partial Discharge, Mechanical endurance, LCC etc. Adequate knowledge and understanding of relevant national and international standards like IEC/ANSI/IEEE. Go through all project specific electrical schematic drawings and test the Control Cabinet/Instrument Chamber. To trace the fault and solve it (both electrical as well as mechanical) by referring to the documents SOP. Organize and allocate resources effectively and efficiently to meet line targets with desired quality. Coordination with various cross functions like production, planning, stores, packing, and marketing. Handle customer inspection FAT independently and the closure of the same. Ownership of the equipment and it's calibration with updated certification. Participate in various Type tests (Experience in Type Test will be an added advantage). Manage the resolution of critical product or equipment issues together with relevant internal teams. Coach, guide, motivates, and develops direct and indirect subordinates within QC, HR policies, Product knowledge, Continuous improvement tools, etc. Participate in the Technology Transfer of new products for Testing and participate in all the Greenfield/Brownfield projects for new facility development, expansion, or incorporation in the existing line. Prepare SOPs for Testing and safety. Handling ISO audits and all Internal/External audits. Ownership of equipment and facilities within line and recommend technical facility improvements as necessary. Assist management and shift team in allocating, coordinating, and overseeing shift orders and work plan execution within testing lines during the shift. Flexible to work in shifts. Maintain zero Safety incidents throughout the year. Providing regular feedback and making recommendations to management regarding issues within the testing line including testing line organization. Shifting priorities and ensure possible critical situations.
Your background:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering - Electrical with 5-6 years' experience in a manufacturing environment. Skilled in High voltage testing up to 420kV, partial discharge testing, and Mechanical endurance testing of Switchgear products. Experience in GIS testing will be an added advantage. ISO 9001 & 45001 Knowledge and Audit Handling experience. Testing Supervision experience (Switchgear, GIS knowledge will be preferable). Basic working knowledge of SAP or other ERP. Should have a high attitude toward quality and on time completion. Experienced professional in Continuous Improvement. (Greenbelt in Lean Six Sigma is an advantage). Knowledge of ISO17025, ISO9001 and NABL. Working knowledge of MS office. Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, A3, PDCA and other lean tools. Fluent in written and spoken English.
