Responsibilities:
- Leading a team of about 10 employees through objectives and motivation, including shift and capacity planning of the assigned employees.
- Coaching and supporting a local team and be liable for the competence development in the area of Control and Protection.
- Continuous improvement of the settlement processes in close cooperation with the other engineering groups to increase in productivity and quality level.
- Monitoring and ensuring the correct execution of the work of its employees in the projects as well as taking global resources into account.
- Support of the employees in the projects as well as the project teams in the area of Substation Automation engineering.
- Active participation in the Control and Protection function team; participation in the preparation of the cost center budget as well as regular monitoring throughout the year.
- Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers, and stakeholders.
Your background:
- University Degree in engineering, preferred protection engineering.
- Proved experience in engineering management.
- Project Engineering experience focuses on designing, communicating, and implementing an operational plan for completing an engineering-based project.
- Experience in design, configuration, and commissioning of protection systems.
- Good knowledge of English- communication in an international environment.
- Detail oriented, analytical skills.
- Well organized/good organizational skills.
- Ability to seek for alternative solutions and creativity.
- Problem solving and goal oriented.
- Willingness to frequent business trips - 50% of working time.
- Driving license (cat. B).
