General information:

One of the reasons for Hitachi Energy success is our rigorous and forward-thinking Finance function. 
 
You will lead Supply Planning, Inventory Management and Resource Management in the Factory. To drive planning initiatives to improve customer on time delivery, and lead-time, to be accountable for inventory incl. sales in excess of invoicing and supply plan adherence responsible for reporting resource utilization.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be the owner of the site supply planning process.

  • You will provide visibility of supply capacity and local supply objectives into the S&OP process. Provides feedback into S&OP process of site’s ability to support the demand plan. 

  • You will own the inventory or NWC check book for the local unit. Establish and maintain an inventory management process including raw materials, WIP, finished goods and sales in excess of invoicing (project units) in line with company instructions. Is accountable for inventory within the site, and driving inventory optimization projects within the site  

  • You will run a short-term planning process or S&OE process, connecting planning with execution. Coordinate an appropriate response to unplanned events. Support the profitable execution of customer orders, in coordination with project management, engineering, manufacturing and procurement.  

  • You will lead/contribute to cross-functional initiatives for optimizing customer on-time delivery, lead-time, inventory, resource utilization, and forecast accuracy. Uses lean 6 sigma tools whenever applicable. Collaborate with other units in the end-to-end supply chain.  

  • You will provide local leadership for the development of best practices in planning systems and integrated ERPs.

Your background:

  • More than 8 years of experience in the transformer business.

  • A strong understanding of the nature of the business and its business logic.

  • Good understanding in factory operation.

  • Structured and analytical thinking

  • Fluent in English, including verbal and writing.

  • External focus / Customer orientation.

  • Strong personal leadership, self-motivation, influence others, excellent communication skill and so on.

  • Cross cultural understanding.

  • Strong decision marking capabilities based on input from many stakeholders.
