Mission statement:

Responsible for sales of Grid Automation Products within Automation and Communication (AC) business in accordance with strategy. Build long term customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues.

Your responsibilities:

  • You will grow Product Sales within Automation & Communication business (Substation Protection, Control & Communication) in APAC region, develop Channel Partners within System Integrators and distributors, act directly with End-users for promotion and positioning and follow particular market growth initiatives such as Renewable, Data Centers, Transport and Mobility.

  • You will continue Product Sales Growth in line with Global Strategy. Address White segments, white spots, white End-users, prepare sales plans using company Product development process, Partners Onboarding program, perform regular status reviews of account plans and proposes recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls.

  • Lead direct relation / communication with customers, lead negotiation and bring feedback, Win/loss opportunities to Market Manager / Account managers team.

  • You will ensure most competitive offer / sustainable Frame Agreement taking into account the market situation and customer’s conditions, support bid/no bid analyses and decisions, participate in project risk review processes.

  • You will take responsible on direct relations with customers, Channel partners, distributors, internal: Account managers, Bid and Proposal team, Solution line specialists, Country and Regional management, Global Key Account, Global Product managers.

  • You will lead, drive and hold itself accountable for the highest standards of health, safety and environment to ensure Zero Harm is achieved, responsible for compliance with relevant HSE policy and procedures, ensure proactive risk assessments take place and corrective actions monitored/followed up, build an injury, incident, near miss and hazard reporting culture within the team, guaranteeing reported incidents will be investigated and action taken and create a workplace where everyone views health, safety and environment as the most important non-negotiable value of your business.

Your background:

  • University degree in Engineering/Trade qualifications – Electrical or equivalent.

  • 5 to10 years of experience required.

  • Experience across Electrical & Automation Industries within Utilities, Power T&D or Power Systems projects, especially in Substation Automation & Communication is an advantage.

  • Good knowledge in Contract negotiation, Contract management and Sales skills.

  • Advanced computer skills across MS Office, MS Teams, Outlook, SharePoint.

  • Expresses opinions, able to work with multiple stakeholders and positions.

  • Good written and verbal English communication skills, high attention to detail.
