Hitachi Energy is currently looking for the “Dispatch Coordinator”, who will support the Power Grids, Distribution Transformers, Dudullu plant in the development of operation planning & supplying processes, skills and tools and lead performance improvement projects.
Your responsibilities:
·Participates actively in the different levels of Planning from Sales &Operation Planning with long term decisions on the logistics requirements for future backlog, through Operations Master Plan translation into optimized Dispatch Plans till relentless fulfillment of the Scheduled Load Shipments
·Ensures optimization of warehousing, loading and shipping operations whilst procures formal assurance that all local operations are performed to respective quality standards and in full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and a safe workplace.
·Monitors, reports and optimizes total logistics costs within area of responsibility while delivering or exceeding Budget Revenues and reaching the targeted Operational Cash Flow
·Involved in the Transport Management and Issue Management G/C Outbound Processes with main activities such as:
- Preparation of Shipment Documents (shipping invoice, packing list, customs documents etc.) and creation of additional documents (based on the requirement from the customer)
- Outbound Delivery note with Handling Unit Creation & Issue clarification in case of any discrepancies.
- Update outbound delivery note in case of re-planning, review impact/reason and initiate action such as claim to customer or document deviation (SNC) and inform logistics operations specialist.
- Transportation Cost review and approval above agreed threshold
·Actively supports Parcel Outbound for Direct Materials in the Transport Management and Issue/Claim Management Processes with main activities such as:
- Preparation of Shipment Documents (shipping invoice, packing list, customs documents etc.)
- Transportation Cost review and SFDB reporting for CR (outbound vs. Transportation Budget)
- Document Claim to customer/from customer process management (NCR)
- Collaborates with internal supplier TT&L and internal customers in the factory (Sales, Project Management, Order Handling, P&F team,..) and aligns them , ensuring Customer projects and Orders receive the contracted level of service.
Your Background:
- A bachelor’s degree in Logistics, supply chain management, International
- Economics, Business or similar fields.
- 2 years of experience in logistics and transportation.
- Familiarity with transport cost structures, documents and terms and conditions within the transport industry (such as Incoterms, surcharges, weight /volume conversion factors, BLs, customs process, etc.)
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge of foreign trade and logistics, Import/ Export and Customs clearance procedures.
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
