Release of PCM600 version 2.11

The evolution of PCM600 continues with this brand new version

Dear Reader,

Protection and Control IED Manager (PCM600) version 2.11 has been released. PCM600 provides versatile functionalities for the entire life cycle of all Relion® Protection and Control IED applications.                    

New features and benefits

IEC 61850

  • Added support for Ed2.1*, PCM600 now can support all three Ed1, Ed2 and Ed2.1 IEDs in a project
  • Routable – GOOSE support* 
  • Edition migration for multiple access points.


IEC 60255-24 Ed.2/IEEE Std C37.111

  • Support for disturbance record in newer COMTRADE 2013*


Efficiency

  • Single place to connect all GOOSE i.e., possibility to connect GOOSE by selecting substation/voltage/bay level using new Communication Connect in PCM600
  • Improved consistency and performance of SCD import/export
  • New command line interface to perform certain operation like Substation Configuration Description (SCD) file, parameter *.CSV export/import

  • Login banner with customizable text
  • Improved handling of certificate
  • Newer SQL Server 2019, for more security and longer support
  • Newer Operating Systems supports, Windows 11 and Windows Server 2019 64 bit

  • Un-installation option in Update Manager, helps to remove not needed packages
  • Event Viewer, better handling of date time column on export of events
  • Improved DPI handling when using Windows 10  
  • Better DataSet handling using template in IEC 61850 Configuration
  • Communication Management, export of signals to MS-Excel file
