Internship Business Controlling High Voltage Products (f/m/d)

For this one-year internship we are looking for a highly motivated and mature person to join our Controlling team. We offer the opportunity to develop your Business Controlling expertise in a multinational and highly complex, industrial environment with a unique combination of system business and manufacturing in house. Your responsibilities

  • Project Controlling – Support customer project managers and the project controllers in regular and ad hoc tasks (project hand overs, reporting, closings, margin analyses, cash collections). You will learn about the unique characteristics and challenges of the project and system business in Hitachi Energy
  • Monthly and quarterly closing – Regular closing tasks within assigned area of responsibility. You gain profound understanding about financial reporting procedures in a multinational corporation
  • Forecasting – Independent data collection and forecasting of KPIs in own area of responsibility. Deviation analysis and proposing of actions to meet targets. You develop an understanding of the Business Partner role of a modern financial controller and learn to take ownership of important business metrics
  • Development of tools and processes – Work independently on own projects to improve controlling tools and processes

Your background

  • Bachelor or equivalent degree in Business/Finance/Economics or similar
  • Strong analytical skills and affinity for numbers
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially in MS Excel. Previous experience in SAP advantageous
  • Fluent and confident in English
  • Mature personality, open and international mindset, strong communication skills, willingness to learn and challenge the status quo
