Hitachi Energy IT have initiated an IT Transformation program for the set up and migration to a new “stand alone” global IT environment. We are looking for a talented IT individual to be part of building and operating a new IT function equipped to meet our future needs. Your role will be to act as Connectivity Product Owner for Network infrastructure and related technologies.

Your responsibilities

• Performing assigned activities in the service catalog management, change implementation management, release and deployment management, incident and major incident management, event management, service level management, problem management processes to ensure IT Service delivery.
• Collaborating with IT suppliers regarding to the operational implementation of outsourced activities consistent with existing agreements.
• Conveying network architecture, standards, policies, norms and guidelines to IT Supply.
• Being responsible for assessing and providing recommendations relating to trend analyses of incidents, working with the relevant IT Functions.
• Day-to-day tasks associated with operating and maintaining networking infrastructure.
• Characterizing and analyzing network traffic to identify issues and potential threats to network resources.
• Engaging on major outages, driving/managing these outages to a quicker resolution, after the resolution, proposing the follow-up action from the outage for long term resolution.
• Acting as liaison to the Infrastructure TSA Exit program.

Your background

• Experience in network infrastructure operations.
• Mandatory: Certification related to networking topics (CCNA); Knowledge in Checkpoint, Firewall, Riverbed, Optimization services (WAAS) equipment.
• Desirable: ITIL Foundation Version 3 or 4; Advanced certifications about CISCO (CCNP, CCIE); Project Management experience (Certification by PMI, PRINCE2 being a plus).
• Experience with: WAN (SDWAN, QoS, Routing protocols e.g. EIGRP, OSPF, BGP4); LAN (SD Access, Switching e.g. STP, VTP); WLAN (Wireless LAN), WAN Optimization; Firewalls (ASA, Checkpoint); AAA (ACS, ISE); Network management and monitoring systems; strong hands-on experience with Cisco Network Hardware (firewalls, switches, routers).
• Working knowledge to troubleshoot the functions of firewall Packet Flow, Captures, NAT, Routing, ACLs.
• Understanding of network security, vulnerabilities and countermeasures.
• Good command of English and cultural awareness to be able to work in a complex, multicultural and global team.
• A collaborative, solutions- and customer-service-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
