General information:

Hitachi energy is seeking an Senior Project Manager for its Mount Pleasant, PA location. This role is responsible to lead the execution of Dead Tank breaker product portfolio in North America market and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with Hitachi Energy policy, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety and environment requirements, financial targets as well as scheduled commitments.


Review of Contract, PO and quote. Develop project schedule and freeze period with respective stakeholders (internal and external) Preparation of project specific risk, and opportunities management. Preparation of project wise Master document list. Coordination for Engineering drawing submittals and customer approvals Coordination with Engineering and SCM to ensure orders are placed on time for sub-supplier for material procurement Review with SCM periodically on production plan of feeder factories and ensuring no slippages on production progress Coordination on Stage inspections (if any) Follow-up on Material shipment, material receipt at site and acknowledgment from sites for submission of Milestone billings (if any) Coordinate with stakeholders for Installation, testing and commissioning at site Closely coordinate and document change requests related to Scope of Work and get approvals for time extension, additional cost etc Project handing over, as-built drawings, commercial closure etc and collection of PAC, close out of any open items & FAC Main contact for customers in project, leading customer meetings and should be able to technically handle queries from customer. Payment follow up with Customers to avoid overdue Project Margin review and analysis. Facilitate and schedule Factory Acceptance Tests when required. Your background:

Engineering Degree with minimum relevant experience of minimum 5 years. Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States. Strong HV and Dead Tank Circuit Breakers technical knowledge is desirable Experience in project execution or High Voltage Substation projects with minimum of 5 years in role as PM. Should possess strong leadership skills and ability to convince stakeholders in the interest of the project. Ability to work under pressure to deliver the projects with time, cost and quality. Strong negotiation and communication skills SAP and Microsoft Office Skills preferred
