General information: The Training Manager is responsible for managing the overall activities involved in the design, preparation, and assessment of training and technical career development programs. The Training Manager works with the Product Line and with the Global Technical Development team to develop fit-for-purpose, and content. Responsibilities: Maintains the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring that all activities are carried out ethically and in compliance with Company's Security, Compliance HSE policies, Management System, relevant laws, regulations, standards and industry practices and complies with the Company's Rules to Live By Places Quality, Health Safety, Security and protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers or the communities in which we live and work at risk Seeks continual improvement in Health, Safety, Security protection of the Environment, taking into account responsible care, process vulnerabilities, public, customer and employee inputs, knowledge and technology and best business practices to exceed customer expectations Supervisors Managers should demonstrate effective safety leadership for the health and safety arrangements of all subordinates and for any persons visiting them while on the Company premises Responsible for being familiar with the Company's Quality policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement Maintains service quality as immediate priorities when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvement Awareness about Quality management system ISO 10015:2019 Competency management and people development is an added advantage Identify competence needs, assess competence gaps and plan competence development based on organizational issues Establish training development program and improve development activities Evaluation of the impact of competence development and associated actions Maintain training records and develop training materials Work closely with product line functional managers for identifying training needs & execution Provide leadership, supervisory and project management for delivery of training, Assist with the development of a training program to solve customers' challenges for digital transformation in the drilling and production domain Provide technical leadership to multi-disciplinary projects/Product Lines when required Proficiency in all aspects of the technical training development and delivery, and managing the technical competency development activities Your background: Bachelor/master's degree in Engineering/relevant engineering from a recognized university Minimum 8 years of functional experience Ensure technical training documentation is relevant and up to date Assess program evaluations, effectiveness, and current and future competency skill gaps tracking and reporting Provide planning, scheduling, and execution of training to support internal and external customer needs Work closely with development and services teams to ensure the training program is relevant for product releases and industry standards Work with third-party vendors, and internal teams to create content and deliver training to end users Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and where appropriate external Supervisors Managers should clearly communicate expectations, roles and responsibilities to their reports
