Main Responsibilities:
- Computation of advance tax on quarterly basis.
- Collation of tax audit and statutory audit related information/ data and preparation of schedules as required by the law.
- Computation of current tax, deferred tax, and contingent liability on quarterly basis both as per Ind AS and IFRS.
- Transfer Pricing: Maintaining documentation on inter-company transactions and facilitating collation of data for preparation of TP audit.
- Full involvement in collating and preparation of tax computation and income tax return filing.
- Group companies or subsidiary companies’ income tax returns filing with proper documentation.
- Managing/ collecting foreign tax credit documents, calculation, follow-ups from respective stakeholders and ensuring proper accounting.
- Maintaining direct taxes related documents and correspondences.
- Keep track of notices received and updating the status in notice tracking system.
- Initiate compliance like PAN/ TAN application, corrections, collecting details/documents for preparation of basic replies to tax office on queries asked.
- Preparation of monthly compliance certificates.
- Visiting income tax office on need basis for correspondences.
- Constantly working on simplification and standardization of process by preparing standard operating process, workflow etc.
- Be pro-active and ready to take up new assignment within the team.
- Ensuring full support to business, finance, and transactional tax by good collaboration.
Your background:
- Education qualification - Chartered Accountant.
- Minimum of 2+ years of overall hands-on experience.
- Good spoken and written English skills.
