The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 1500 skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, functional system testing, installation supervision and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest engineering hub. The India Operations Centre is a key aspect of the Power Grids business Power Up transformation program. The INOPC team at Chennai supports Hitachi Energy’s units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Power Grid business. To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.
Your Responsibilities:
Support and coordinate project management & Tendering through analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
Collect and analyse data from projects, OTD, OPQ, GMD.
Assist in the designing, testing, and deploying of business applications.
Develop work breakdown structure and prepare diagrams, graphs and charts to analyse problems.
Create weekly, monthly reports (S Curve, SV, CV data’s etc).
Monitor project execution to achieve maximum effectiveness projects.
Assist in problem solving and providing solutions.
Cooperate with other teams in different business units and locations.
Must have people skills the ability to work with both international customers and suppliers as a Quality specialist.
Enjoy working in a high-profile environment with constant verbal and written communication.
Willingness to travel is must.
Your Background:
4-10 years of relevant experience.
Project Controls- Data analysisTools/configurators- MS-Office: Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint.
Application knowledge of SAP, Salesforce- MS Projects, Primavera or equivalent.
