General information:
You as a SCM Specialist will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will be supporting the implementation, maintenance and compliance of supply chain management (SCM) council approved activities. Analyzing, proposing and implementing local SCM actions.
Responsibilities:
Spend management: Being responsible for local or regional contract management and negotiation assesses local markets; implements targets or standards or processes. Sourcing: Designing and implementing plans for local sourcing to reach the business targets. Supporting regional and global strategic sourcing initiatives as required. Excellence: Applying and implementing SCM standards, tools and processes in the area of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost and sustainability. Special programs: Designing and implementing cost-out programs and/or processes to reach financial targets. Change management: Executing and implementing new directions within the area of responsibility. Compliance: Applying standards on health, safety, environment and business ethics within operational work, contract management and negotiations. Training: Delivering and participating in training programs as required for compliance and professional development. Communication: Executing effective and transparent communication internally, externally and between different units. Process: Standardizing processes and implementing routines along with Table of Authority as per Group directives or instructions. Your background:
A bachelor's degree in engineering. Experience in supply chain management. Knowledge in SAP. Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
