Hitachi Energy High Voltage Products (PGHV) develops, produces, sells, delivers and services products and solutions to enable industrial and energy customers to operate more efficiently and profitably. Reporting to the supply chain manager, you will provide assistance to the company as a whole by ensuring that all procurement activities comply with the policies and procedures of the company.
Your responsibilities
- Purchase equipment on behalf of the company in accordance with the required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and conditions defined
- Supplier evaluation, visits, assessment and development
- Support other departments by providing relevant information of the market
- Monitor the performance of suppliers (delivery times, quality, execution times) and solve performance problems
- Identify and qualify new suppliers in collaboration with the quality and engineering specialists
- Align supplier orders with customer requirements in terms of content, quality, delivery, durability, and price
- Be consistent with the fundamental values of security and integrity of ABB, that is, take responsibility for your own actions, while taking care of your colleagues and the company
Your background:
- Early professionals are preferred with sourcing or buyer experience (min a year experience)
- Experience in working with SAP, confident user in storing data
- Precise and proactive worker
- Team-player
- Good communication and negotiations skills
- Fluent both in German and in English
