IT Demand and Project Excellence Manager (f/m/d)

As Demand, Project & Portfolio Manager , you are accountable for planning, coordinating, and managing all aspects of the Departmental demand, program/project portfolio. Lead and supervise a multinational team of Capability Managers and Specialists in the area of responsibility.

Your responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the IT Department Managers, to build appropriate services and solutions; all in relevance to IT Demand, Project & Portfolio Manager area to improve efficiency or operational functionality.
  • Deliver IT demand/program/project portfolio service/support, supporting execution of demand requirements within budgeted costs, quality and time schedule
  • Implement effective interfaces between IT/Corporate teams for all IT Demand, Project & Portfolio related activities and, ensures demands adherence to agreed time, budget and quality specifications
  • Ensure the installation / management / maintenance / optimization of internal and cross-functional processes related to IT Demand, Project & Portfolio
  • Give input for development of IT Demand, Project & Portfolio
  • Manage assigned budget effectively and delivers activities within agreed schedules and costs. Increases satisfaction with Demand, Project & Portfolio services by assessing expectations, making sure actions are taken to close any gaps in full coordination with the Global Risk, Governance and Performance Manager
  • Ensure executional excellence throughout the area of responsibility
  • Drive IT Demand & Project Management disciplines through education, collaboration and continuous process improvement. Maintain the IT Demand & Project Management Framework documents and repositories
  • Raise awareness in the organization around IT Demand & Project Management by providing training and guidance to enforce the execution of it. Agile coaching strategy, creating a common approach that would help our team's delivery with improved effectiveness and efficiency
  • Develop and ensure that IT Demand Project Management frameworks are robust and based on industry best practice / standards and in alignment with regulatory requirements. Define, maintain and coach Gate Model for IT
  • Responsible for the compliance of the processes used during the execution of IT Project Management processes with the requirements of our models by coordinating project assessments

Your background

  • 10+ years of experience in large global corporation and profound experience in IT Management
  • 7+ years of professional working experience in areas of Project Management, and in people management
  • Deep knowledge in IT Project Management and IT Processes
