As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will be an electrical designer for an engineering discipline with various complexity, but with focus on designing the control cubicles and cable interfaces for our HVDC plants in our installed base. You will have assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects, focusing on cost-effective solutions and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements. It is a role where you can learn a lot and contribute with your own thoughts and ideas. Your responsibilities
- Work mainly with electrical design in projects within our installed base
- Coordinate electrical design including detailed planning
- Responsible for material and material supply within the control and protection delivery
- Support and guide the electrical installation of the control and protection equipment at site
- Calculate tender for the electrical design part in our service projects
- Collaborate with the electrical design team for continuous improvement
Your background
- We are looking for an engaged and driven person who are true team player
- You enjoy problem-solving and are service minded
- You contribute with your positive and proactive mindset, as well as with your ability to create a good atmosphere
- Great interest of quality and production is an advantage for you in this role
- You hold a university degree in Electrical Engineer and may recently have graduated, or some years of similar work experience
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken is required to be able to interact with various stakeholders, proficiency in Swedish is an advantage
- You are open minded about living and staying in Ludvika or in a smaller community/city close to Ludvika
