Hitachi Energy is seeking for an HR Business Partner for its Raleigh, NC location. The Human Resources Business Partner is responsible supporting managers and employees in Sales, Marketing and Corporate Functions by resolving issues and addressing questions. The position will be heavily involved in data review to ensure data integrity and will conduct HR reporting in response to organizational needs and proactive monitoring. The role will work with Hitachi Energy’s Workday system and process implementations, drive standardization and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws.
Your responsibilities
- HR Operations in the business: Carry out training and communication on HR strategy, policy, and processes when necessary. Support resolution of escalation on issues needing escalation in the employee self-service model.
- Business Partnering: Change management in shifting the business to an increasingly manager and employee self-service model.
- Culture and employee engagement by supporting managers with the employee engagement survey results analysis, action plan development, execution of the plan, and visibility/awareness within the US sales and marketing organizations. Partner with managers to develop methods to measure effectiveness of actions such as pulse surveys, focus groups, etc.
- Attraction and onboarding: In close collaboration with Talent Partner, to ensure open positions are filled in a timely and efficient manner. Ensure the HR processes of onboarding are managed.
- Talent Management/Compensation & Benefits: Engage the business and Talent Center of Excellence (COE) in building talent pipelines and talent leverage available talent programs for identified talents.
- Establish cadence with potential and high potential talent connects with leadership. Drive greater diversity in the teams to gain broader diversity of thought.
Your background
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or acceptable equivalent is required and a minimum 2 years’ of experience as an HRBP with generalist responsibilities.
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with the business leadership and experience in one or more of the following: Employee satisfaction/engagement survey follow-up, support administrative resolution of issues, performance counselling with managers and employees.
- Strong HR system expertise and experience in data maintenance and data quality improvements. Workday experience is a plus.
