Mission statement:

As new R&D summer intern, you will join our transformer technology center and support R&D experts on project execution. The projects include product development and technology development. Depending on your backgrounds, specified mentors will guide you for the tasks.

 

Your responsibilities: 

  • You will involve in Multiphysics simulation, like mechanical, thermal and electromagnetics, new material investigation and validation.

  • You will have good practice in programming with C, C++, MATLAB, Python, tool development with excel and VB and data analysis.

  • You will involve in cost analysis and optimization on product development and Insulation system study.

  • You will be involved in mechanical design and parameterized solutions, test and documentation.

  • Living Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background:

  • You hold majored in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, materials engineering, High voltage, IT and so on.

  • Be proactive and innovative.     

  • Familiar with ANSYS if supporting to do simulations.

  • Be fluent in oral and written English.
