In the Engineering Department for gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) at Hitachi Energy in Dammam.We are looking for Electrical Engineering graduates for a period of nine to twelve-month internship program in High Voltage GIS product group. We offer you a job in a dynamic and agile environment with ambitious goals. You will gain insight into the interrelationship of GIS and Power system network, in which we offer you active participation in our core activities. You will work and be integrated in a team of experts in the field of Design and Engineering of high voltage technologies and thus have the possibility to extend and deepen your knowledge on power systems and High Voltage technology. Responsibilities:
Preparation of electrical circuit diagrams of high voltage GIS (66kV and above) for various substation configurations. Coordination and reviewing the 2D and 3D drawings before submitting the same to customers. Prepare specifications, check supplier's offers & co-ordinate with Supply Chain Management for procurement of materials, equipment's & Services for LCCs Prepare interlocks, MIMIC, AC DC Load calculation. Prepare the Control schematics drawings in E-3 for GIS bays Preparation of guaranteed technical parameters for various high voltage equipment's such as circuit breakers, disconnectors, earth switches. Addressing the technical queries raised by the customer during execution of the project in case if required. Supporting various cross functions like supply chain management, project management and quality for understanding the customer requirements and specifications in case if required. Generating bill of material of modules and products and creating part numbers using SAP. Supporting onsite installation and commissioning colleagues for understanding the customer drawings and other technical support. Visiting the customer for attending the queries and ensuring the engineering drawings approval in time. Active project contribution to reduce the lead time and cost of the offered GIS solution by developing a solution as per project technical requirements. Adhere to the detailed project plan to meet on time delivery. To ensure quality of deliverable as top priority To focus on optimized solutions with benefits to customers and Hitachi Energy.
Your background:
Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, electrical power systems or similar, is required with or without prior experience Interest in learning new technologies Analytical mindset and self-going, takes initiatives to solve problems. Fluent in English.
