The Opportunity

We’re offering an exciting opportunity to join a newly formed and fast-growing PGSV team in Ludvika, Sweden. As a Shipping and Customs Specialist, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth outbound logistics and customs operations for a global customer base. You’ll report directly to the Recruiting Manager Silvija Stirbyte and be part of the Order and Project Management team, currently consisting of 8 dedicated team members.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Ensure timely and compliant delivery through outbound logistics and customs processes
  • Work with a diverse portfolio of global customers and partners - both internal and external
  • Collaborate with freight forwarders and ensure compliance with transport and customs regulations
  • Partner cross-functionally with teams such as Order, Sales, Finance, Planning, Production, and SCM
  • Stay current with regulatory changes and inform internal stakeholders, while identifying skill development needs
  • Implement and maintain procedures for origin, classification, customs value, and declarations
  • Escalate customs issues that deviate from procedures or pose risks to the company
  • Ensure third-party customs work (e.g. freight forwarders, suppliers) follows established procedures
     

Your background

  • You hold a degree in the fields of Business administration, Engineering, Purchasing, Customs or relevant work experience connected to this role
  • You are driven, innovative, well organized and know how to prioritize your daily work
  • You have great communication skills and are service-minded
  • Strong communication skills in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
  • Knowledge of Polish is a plus
