Product Engineer

General Information:

Project Engineering focuses on designing, communicating, and implementing an operational plan for completing an engineering-based project including: Preparing designs, project controls and specifications, schedules, cost estimates, production, transportation, installation, testing and/or commissioning of new infrastructure, facilities, equipment, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Design/customize a local solution based on a Global portfolio.
  • Work with the SCM team to find new suppliers and work on the cost estimates,
  • Be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing power quality solutions products in our factory.
  • Prepare drawings and bill of material for projects.
  • Think strategically in standardization and process improvement.
  • Prepare an automatic process to transfer information to SAP.
  • Provide technical support to customers and team members regarding power quality solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in power quality solutions.
  • Develop strategies to mitigate power quality issues and improve overall system performance.

Your Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Degree.
  • Knowledge about UL and Low Voltage standards
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
